FROM CABARET TO THEATRE
From the first Equestrian Cabaret, in 1984, to Ex Anima, all Zingaro shows combine equestrian theatre, dance, world music, poetry and many other art forms, that are as many conveyors of emotions and invitations to travel.
To attend a Zingaro show is a peculiar experience. Entering the big top, feeling the sand under your feet, finding your seat in the dark and hearing the horses neigh in the distance, the bridles rustling, the muffled thud of the hooves, the audience’s whispers, catching a whiff of the animal smells floating under the canvas… It is almost like a symphony, a ritual. And you get this strange feeling, as you leave the arena, dazzled, that you are still floating in a dream.
